Habitat for Humanity NCM will host a Rural Rally honoring the legacy of Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter and their lifelong commitment to building homes, hope, and community.

 Thursday, October 30

 12 Newton Street, Ayer

This gathering will celebrate Habitat’s continued work in rural communities and recognize the many hands and hearts that make it possible. We’ll be expressing our gratitude to the students, volunteers, Local Project Committee, the Town Managers, and Friends of Habitat for their invaluable support and partnership.

Come share in this meaningful moment as we reflect on the Carter legacy and our shared mission to ensure everyone has a safe, decent place to call home. Light lunch and cookies will be provided.  There will be a door to sign with your gratitude that will be used in a future build.

Habitat’s ReStore in Leominster (637 Lancaster Street (Route 117); open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm) needs people to cover shifts to assist on the floor, at the register or helping to pick up donations of larger furniture, appliances, household tools and even cabinetry.  arrangements can be made for a convenient pick-up.
